possible leaking hull

Hello,
I've got a 1996 Glastron fish and ski that is getting some water in the center hatch area. I use this boat for fishing only and during the summer take it out 2 or 3 times a week. I bought it 2 years ago and have never noticed any water in that area until recently. I always clean and inspect the boat after each trip and for about 2 weeks now I've discovered about an 1 1/2" of water in that center area. I fish early morning when there is very little wind and waves are minimal. I don't take it beyond 25-30 mph as I'm in no rush to get anywhere. I usually fish for about 4 hours . I motor out to a spot and use my trolling motor to explore. I did remove the drain plug and flange awhile back to inspect and thought perhaps the sealant there was at issue so I resealed it using 5200. The bilge shows no signs of water at all after a typical outing. The center section though gets water in it consistently. I used a sponge to soak up standing water and when I did the water continued to seep in through the fiberglass, as if the underlying areas were saturated. This leads me to believe there is a crack or some sort of small stress fracture in the gel-coat and the underlying fiberglass . For the life of me I can't find where this water is coming from. This boat sits on a trailer in my garage when not in use. I've been under the boat with a good light and my glasses and could not find anything. If there is a small fracture that is opening up enough to leak while under way, how can I go about finding it? Please take a look at the pictures and let me know what you think.
Also, after resealing the drain plug there has been no water in the bilge at all. The only water is in the center hatch area. Is it likely the foam core is becoming saturated with water? That seems the only logical conclusion given how it seeps into the area when sponged out. Sorry for the long post but this is very distressing.
This is my first boat and for me at the age of 62 the only time I've been able to really explore a lake and enjoy fishing so much more.
Please advise this ole fisherman what the best course of action would be.

I've done some more checking this morning and discovered the bow eye was a just a bit loose. I was able to tighten it by snugging the exterior nuts but this left we wondering if the eye is leaking. I don't believe it's underwater at all but certainly it's in an area that is splashed quite a lot. I would just pull and reseal with 5200 to be sure it's not the culprit but there is no access to that area unless I cut a hole to reach those nuts on the inside. Hmmm? Is there a way to effectively seal it from the outside?

the water could be coming from a variety of areas.

does the boat have a livewell? if so, the livewell plumbing may have failed (common problem with plastic livewell fittings)

are you sure the bilge is absolutely dry? take a piece of cardboard, put under the motor in the bilge. back trailer in water, get in bilge and look for a wet spot. if none show up when the motor is up, fire up the motor. sometimes you may need a flashlight, mirror, cellphone camera, or other device to get your head in areas to find the leak.

water could be leaking into the flotation foam from one area of the boat and could be slowly seeping into your ski locker. if this is the case, your foam may be saturated which is not a good thing.

I will put the boat in and check with some cardboard as you suggest. And yes the boat has a live well that has gone unused since I've owned it.
But I did remove and reinstall it while doing some work in the bilge a couple months ago. I'm very worried the flotation foam is becoming saturated. There are I believe 5 through hull fittings on the hull, 3 of which are plastic and are for plumbing the live well. The 4th one is brass/bronze and is for the drain plug and the 5th is plastic also and is the bilge pump drain None of them look suspect but without removing and inspecting them further there is no way to tell. If I remove these to check them would you suggest installing brass fittings instead? Are maybe just check and re-install with some 5200?
Also, if I'm able to find and fix this leak, will the flotation foam eventually dry out? Thanks Scott for the advise

the plastic thru-hull fittings generally fail between 5 and 15 years. your boat is 22 years old.

if you just started getting the water in the bilge, there is a chance that it could weep out and the foam will be ok.

I'm going to remove all those plastic fittings and inspect

No Title

I took a look at hose through hull fittings and all are tight and don't appear to be damaged in any way. I haven't removed them yet. I did see 2 what appear to be drain hoses which I could not determine where they were from. There is one on each side of the bilge and are 3/4" plastic hose. A drain for sure but where do they come from?
All the carpeting is dry to the touch and there is no mildew present.
I also removed the seat base in the bow area so I could take a look for damp areas. Everything looked dry so I'm thinking the bow eye, though somewhat loose is not at issue
