It has been raining but I noticed a drip coming from the transom where the water hose hooks up to the transom. What could be leaking? It's above the u-joint bellows. could also be from rain coming from bilge vents

The first thing to do is determine if it's from the rain or not. No since looking for a minor water leak in the rain.

That true, I will wait until tomorrow and see if I still see the drip and let you know. Hopefully it's just the rain because if it's the water inlet housing gasket then it looks like the engine needs to come out to change that one, I think.....

Re: possible water leak

I thought about tasting it but I couldn't get my hand back there to catch a drip and I wasn't about to sip the water in the bilge..... Well for an update it stopped raining so I went back to the marina and rechecked and I saw no drips so now I am happy for now....The back of my boat has 4 vents(2 are wide open vents and the others are blowers) The rain water runs down the rear canvas and down the vent and drips somewhere back there is my theory. They should have covered the vents somehow so now whenever it rains I will get water in the bilge unless I figure something out my self....
