Hey guys I am looking to upgrade from my Jet-ski to my first real boat. The ski was fun while it lasted but I want to start to get into water skiing and wake boarding so its time for a boat. Just want some information about this boat. It seems to be in real good condition with a bunch of new parts installed last year and from the pictures looks like it was well taken care of. How much does a boat like this normally go for in good condition with the trailer? How would this boat be for skiing/tubing use? I have heard that I can purchase a cover for the front so that it can be taken out on the ocean on calm days...do they sell one for this model boat? How is fuel consumption on this model? Anything in particular that I should look out for? Thanks for the help...definitely appreciate it.

Here is a pic the seller sent me...

i just bought a 1991 200 horizon with the v8 350 and LOVE it. Great all around boat. You can buy a cover from Four Winns or have one made at a custom shop. I am not sure about perofrmance on the smaller motors. Good luck with what ever you buy.

I owned a 1989 horizon 200 for 4 years. It was equiped with an omc stearndrive and ford 5.8 V8.
I live in CO and even at 5200 ft elevation, it would pull 2- 200lb men up on slolom skis and still run 46 mph.:)
It was the best boat I've ever owned.
I sold it when I got maried and it had over 2800 hours and not a single problem.:)
