Wow, this old thread is overwhelmed by photos of fancy fiberglass whales...course, there's nothing wrong with that. I count only two or three pix of clean-lined, basic tinny's. So I can't resist adding a couple shots of the Texas Maid.

Our new to us 1994 Regal 256 Valanti




Purchased it Nov 15 and after a long test drive on the Allegheny River, put it right into winter storage.

Was not looking for such a big boat for my first one (grew up on 19ft Century ski boats) but wife's only requirement was a real flushing toilet. Not too many of those on 20ft deck boats.

Here is my 1995 Hydra Sport fish/ski boat

I am restoring it right now, I got the wet sanding done. Next is to put some oxidation and wax on it. Also I get to put on our new trolling motor!!!: After that as you can tell fromt he photos it needs new carpet and new seats. I got lots of cleaing to do.

I just bought this 1992 Alumacraft Cruiser 200
20 ft Pontoon boat with a Evinrude 60 hp and trailer
a few weeks ago off of Ebay from a dealer.

Have not had it in the water yet.
I did start and run it yesterday with water muffs. Sounds good so far.

I'm going to be 60 in a few day The Good Lord Will 12/12/08.
Haven't been boating in 45 years since I was about 15.
Retired from a heart disability now,
and my wife and I want to fish, and do pleasure boating,
and make some use of our time now.

Haven't been fishing except for one time since 1980.
Have a lot to catch up on.
