I went with a pretty standard color combo with a dove grey deck , white sides and a med. blue bottom. I looked around like you're doing and went back to this...I used to have a simmons sea skiff that was painted like this and just got hooked ...never ever never should have sold that boat, I've missed it ever since:(

Just have to add that is one nice clean boat
VERY well done!

Here's a few pictures of my first resto project. It's my 66 thompson and I painted it with Epifanes Yacht enamel, rolled and tipped then wet sanded & buffed

I just used a standard photo-editing software package that came free with my digital camera. It's easy to do... you just select everything that you want to change, then fill it with the color of your choice. I actually "picked" the color from my car and overlaid it on top of the existing paint on the boat, saving the photo as a .GIF file. Then I combined the two photos with an animated .GIF producer, also free on the web. It's time consuming, but easy enough. Give it a try!

Hey tallcanadian... like so?

That's pretty close. I like it too. Maybe just a bit darker? That's cool man. Looks awesome.

How about this? Almost like a midnight blue.

Pefect!! That's it. That is awesome. Thanks so much for that, totally appreciate it. I just put the three together and I do like that darker blue for sure.
