with good reason I'd say........there one of those near my house and I find them to be pretty ugly in design ( the chrysler).<br /><br />Heres one that I'm not sure as to how seldom seen it is, but I love its design, plus this one runs perfectly for me up north when i use it.<br /><br />

Behold, the 1952 3 hp Lauson Sportking. It is a 4 stroke, air cooled, all aluminum deal. Pretty lightweight. I finally got it running by replacing the funky little sparkplug and cleaning the carb. Runs like a lawnmower, but it does run. I got it and another just like it for $20 at a fleamarket a while back. Pretty slick...<br /><br />

I had the Homelite 55, a 1963 as a matter of fact. I also have a 54 Goodyear seabee 5 horse that is still running strong, along with a 56 Evinrude 15 horse, 50s Wizard 10 horse, a 69 Evinrude 115 horse, 57 Johnson 5.5 horse, and my trusty 69 Merc 125 horse. I have outboard issues...<br /><br />
