Re: Posting Pix video, possible faq

Overall, I think he did an excellent job.
There was some minor audio issues. A couple of times, there was another voice poverlayed and halfway through the volume increased noticeably.
I watched the video at 1280x1024 so the box was a little small on my screen making it hard to see the text for middle-aged eyes. This is a minor point at least for me.
Procedurally, I picked up on one or two minor steps which were omitted which would only affect the extreme novice. I know it's hard to slow down and document every little step, but xcusme did a great job of doing just that.

I've never took the time to get the hang of PhotoBucket, this will help.

I don't see an Oscar here though unless he adds some sex and violence.

One thing I noticed using FireFox is that in photobucket, the click and copied doesn't work. You either have to right click the text and choose copy or use Ctrl-c to get the text copied.

While I haven't tried that, I did notice xcusme was using Firefox in the demo.
Perhaps an idiosynchracy in versions, 2 instead of 3 or vice versa ??

Re: Posting Pix video, possible faq

This is from the photobucket support:

We are sorry that you are currently experiencing issues with the one-click copy feature provided with your Photobucket account. Adobe recently released Adobe Flash Player Version 10. There were changes in that program to prevent problems with potentially dangerous content being added to your clipboard. Those changes interacted with the one-click copy feature provided by Photobucket.

Photobucket is actively working on a resolution for the issue and plans to have that available in the near future. In the interim, we ask that you use the copy feature provided through your operating system. You can do this by left clicking once over the code. Then, click your right mouse button and select Copy. You can also use the CNTRL-C command.

Re: Posting Pix video, possible faq

Excellent information for the newbie uploaders (me included!).

I was wondering where I was going to read about how to do this, but this video has shown me exactly what I need to do and why in some posts there are thumbnails and in others there is full size!

Thanks:)
