While working on a manifold plug that is stuck I had to remove the riser. After drilling the plug to use an ez out, I wanted to flush the metal filings and without thinking poured 8-12 ounces of water into the top of the manifold with the thought it would flush the plug. I did not see water so I stopped. Did I just pour water into the cylinders??? What do I do???

Time to see if motor will turn over.-----And check oil level.-----Get motor running to make 1000% sure no water sits in a cylinder for a few weeks.

Don't want to scare you but what about the metal? If you have water in a cylinder, where did the metal shavings end up? If it were me and I found water in the cylinders, I would pull the head on that side and make sure the cylinder is clean of metal filings. If there is metal in the cylinder, turning it over will score the cylinder walls in all likelihood. Also, check the oil pan for water in case of water in a cylinder. Shouldn't be any if you have good rings.

I would probe into the cylinder(s) with 1/8 inch cord to see if it is wet.
