When I get my 250mil lump sum after taxes, Im gonna throw the biggest party my squadron has ever seen. Turn in my uniforms, get me a nice house on Lake Ouachita with a nice **** with a good size house boat, party cruiser, ski boat and some jet ski's.

watched a show on tlc " how the lottery changed my life". a single guy, down and out, won. showed him still single, tones of useless stuff beside his swimming pool....statues etc. his quote was " money didnt buy me happiness.....but it sure allowed me to pick my miseries"!

i personally cant understand why they would offer up $500 million as a prize, would it not be better to offer 50 $10 million prizes? jmo

You buying or not buying a ticket is a personal choice, but has absolutely ZERO impact on anyone else's chance of winning.

Don't play the lottery as I always thought of it as a tax on people who are bad at math.

However that being said it is a fun mind game while sitting in my deer stand to try and figure what ever to do with all that money.

Well since the Power ball in my state supports some of the educational grants I bought 10 yesterday.
My thoughts about what to do with the money?
1. Get all my relatives out of debt.
2. Buy a Santa suit and play Santa Clause in a few stores to those who might look like they are down on their luck and could use some Holiday cheer. (This is a dry country so not that kinda cheer)
3 Donate a sizeable sum to the Shriners Crippled childrens hospital
4 Put back some in a safe place for a rainy day ( if there is a safe place in today's economy)
5 .Buy a good size Ford dually and a 5th wheel and tour the country side and enjoy life.
6 Buy 1,000 acres of piece and quiet in the Arkansas hills and get lost.
7 Buy a boat and keep fishing and be happy.

I asked my wife the other day when the jackpot was still at 400 mil. "If I was to win the lottery, would you divorce me and take half the money?" Jokeingly (I think) she said yes. I got two numbers and the power ball, so I handed her the ticket and said have fun.

Now that there made me laugh...

My wife's 50th. birthday is next week. I made a homemade card saying that I was taking her out to an expensive club that evening and to dress for the occasion because she deserved the best for her fiftieth birthday. On the next page I included a senior discount card and added, now we can try out your new card...:facepalm:
