Hi cheeks<br /><br />You have a 1976 35 HP which was the first 35HP with the bigger displacement. Usually this model has a sticker on intake silences with this information. Most if not all of these have generators for light and accessories. Check if there are three yellow wires going from statorplate to a little terminal row on starboard side of motor looking from back. If there is, it has a generator for light and acc. A rectifier can be added ( if not already ) and you can charge a battery. The whole CD ignition system from the other motor will bolt on, if you like to upgrade it. Just swap the whole stator, CD powerpack, ignition coils and harness - no problem. The CD ignition is far better.
