Power Head Identification

I purchased a PH thinking it would fit my motor....it won't. Now I need to sell it, but I need to know what it actually fits before I can do that. I was told that it fit a 1998 Mercury 90 hp outboard. I have two numbers off of castings listed below. Any help will be appreciated.

800-818153-C5

Post a picture of your old powerhead and the one you bought.

These 3 photos are of the one I purchased. Was told it was for my 1998 Mercury 90 HP. It is not the same as the one on my motor. They are very similar. Fuel recovery lines are different. A marine mechanic told me he suspects it is for an earlier year model. I have a request in to obsupport@mercmarine.com. I have not heard back from them yet.

The motor on my boat is a Mercury Force. Those photos are on this post. The previous photos are of the PH I purchased and am trying to find out what motor it is for. I don't know if it's a Force PH or not. Hope the photos help. Thanks for your help.

If im not mistaken it should have something that looks similar to a freeze plug that should have the s.n. on it

I would say the powerhead you bought is a FORCE.--------Perhaps a different year that can be made to fit.-----Contact the SELLER for help.

The seller went out of business right after I purchased the PH. I wish that was an option. I have since purchased the correct one and I'm on the lake again. I need to know what this one fits.

Ok, here is what I've found out. The PH is a Force and fits 1990-1994 90 hp motors. Anybody know anyone looking for one. I'll let this one go cheap.
