Power head interchange 1980's 70 hp

Hello,
I just found this forum! My Problem is I burned a piston in my 87 Johnson 70 VRO and found another that I can get for a good price. I need to know if the power heads interchange. Mine is model J70 TECUR Or J70TUCWR Hard to read the sticker. I found a 1983 70 hp Model J70 ELCTE. Runs and I can get it for 250.00 Are the power heads the same? Will everything swap over? The 83 is manual tilt and mine is power trim. Could I just swap the trim? What would be easier?

HERE is a list of the powerheads that will interchange with yours. I didn't see the 1983 model listed. I don't know if the trim will swap either according to this LIST.

It would seem I should just swap motors and use the 83 while I rebuild the 87? I was told they should be baisically the same. Could swap the power trim onto the 83 but I am not sure only one guy says so so far....
