While running my boat today it experienced a power loss would only run @2500 Rpm. I pumped the Bulb it was firm and made no change, also shut down motor and dissconected tan/blue wire to temp sensor. Motor was not hot could hold my hand on cylinder head. This made no change either, after sitting about 5 minutes ran fine. Vro disconnected and I have a manual. Where should I start looking????

Javelin 353 The number 2500 is the key here. I know you said it wasn't hot but thats the rpms that the engine will drop and limit its self to if theres an overheat condition. The S.L.O.W. limitter kicks in. I would look into that system and see how it goes.<br />steve

Hey Javelin check out my post "shimmy and shake at mid R.P.M.s". I have same problem. Maybe together we can get em fixed. Tan/blue had no effect on mine either, but I have a solid Tan that "t's" off of the tan/blue and when I disconnect it, she runs like new.
