power loss

i have 1992 bastracker w40hp/ jonhson, had several places work on it still have same problem, motor cranks fine ,idles good,will run slow, but when you give it gas it will bogg down, if you hold the key in to choke it ,it will run fine until you stop choking it, had oil separtor disconnected, carbs acid drippedthen, rebuiltnew, propnew, fuel filtersome, new hosesstill, does same thing. please help. thank you

If it runs good while holding the key in, which activates the primer, it indicates a clogged carb. I would go through them again....

You don't need new carbs, just some carb kits and a Manual to guide you through the procedure. Kits are $15.00-$20.00 Each carb...

rebuilt carbs,still have same problem, in ilde rev good, in gear can only go slow unless you hold choke in,do you know what feul mix should be for 92, jonhson 40 hp,any more help would be very grateful, reaby to shoot motor
