Hmm I am not sure what u mean. The boat mechanic says it will be a ten day turn around and $200 to remove the pump. I am just one bolt away from the pump being out. Can I cut the line then patch it like a garden hose? I dunno what else to do this point. I hate that they will charge me $200 to remove one bolt. stupid, so annoyed.

he means that even tho the nut is rounded off, you should be able to use vice grips on it. you will need to buy a whole new line, which may still be cheaper than the shop.
