Power steering mount

Volvo Penta 5.0 GXI 2006 . Been chasing a belt issue for many seasons. I’ve replaced or had mechanic replace everything that touches the belt. Just had mechanic replace my power steering pump and pulley. Belt now squeals when power is added. My last item to replace is PS mount. Is this item readily available? Anyone know the part number?
Btw is there any chance my VP tensioner's are bad in one season ? Very frustrating.

It's not the mount

If it's squealing when you turn the wheel, that's a loose belt. Go back to the tensioner

I’ve replaced belts and tensioners multiple times really no change. Port engine squeaks at start up but then runs good. Starboard squeaks at acceleration.. then it runs good. All parts a VP OEM

Agree with Scott its not the bracket. Look at the belt on both motors for numbers, are they the same number and what is the number(s)?

double check the belt width, most squealing is from the alt pully slipping on the belt. Belt width should be at or slightly above the pully V groove.
On my motor it turned out the pully was slightly over width and depth. too deep.pbelt would bottom out and the V section would just slip
With the belt tensioned correctly try to turn the alt and circ pump pullys.

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,..... I carry a bar of Lava hand soap in all of my toolboxes,.... Not only is it great for cleaning yer hands after a job, it works Great to help with slipping belts,....
Just rub it against the inside of the belt, at idle, 'n yer squeaking should go away,.....

Volvo buys the damper and belts. so OEM would be gates or continental


the lava soap trick or belt dressing is the cheap cure.......
a slightly shorter belt to get a bit more spring pressure on the tensioner will help.

stock belt should be 99" (2515mm) , however I believe that there is a 98.4" belt out there too (2500mm)

Now this applies to an auto engine, however it looks like you are running auto type p/s pulleys Now in a P/S pump if you push/pull the pulley its 10 to 20 thousands of an inch, so some play, by design. In Fords especially ( Ford had a bulletin ) the P/S pump pulley had to be pulled out .020 inch instead of being flush with ( the belt that looked inline ) to stop belt noise. Basically the shaft should be slightly recessed form the pulley. If this does not help on your boat maybe it will help someone with an older Ford. P/S pullers are cheap ( crappy, one time use pullers sometimes come with replacement pump ) Your picture bottom right clearly shows pump shaft even with pulley. Yes, I know it goes against every instinct to not leave less pulley on a shaft ( but it was good enough for Ford ( maybe not saying much, Ford quality always depended on model years, IMHO ) I am looking at the picture again, your pulley actually may be a bit further out than flush. Get a puller, go to flush first, then try the .020.
