Re: power steering problem

I had a similar problem after doing a steering fluid flush...Needed both hands to turn the wheel.
Turned out I had air in the system and wasn't getting any better after a couple of hours on the water.

With the engine off, turn the wheel lock to lock about 8 times as fast as you can to pump the fluid through the system. Then look in the pump reservoir. I had massive bubbles at first. After 1/2 an hour of purging, the bubbles got smaller and smaller. Took about an hour to get all the air out. Make sure to wait 1/2 a minute for the bubbles to escape from the fluid between each round.

Hope it works out for you.
