I have a 4.3MPI with serial number: 2A185156.

I recently noticed when looking straight down onto the serpentine belt that the power steering power has an aggressive tilt inward. It has three mounting one, one on the front and two on the rear that fasten on the rear studs. All the fasteners are tight and the rear lower stud has a spacer on it. It seems that the spacer could be longer and that would bring the pulley out square with the other, then it may need to be driven further onto the pump shaft, not entirely sure.

The mounting bracket/plate for the rear two bolts is very thick and sturdy, I can see that bending. I can across another thread and found they had the same issue and I borrowed their photo as I didn’t get one. Seems odd to find another engine with the same issue like this, have I overlooked something? Seems the other person with the issue loosen up the bottom bolt and that brought it out but I would think all the fastners should all be snug and perhaps add a few washers to the stud along with the spacer that’s already there?
