Hello everyone!My power steering pump is leaking because of cracked reservoir and lost fittings in the back.Can I just remove it ,block the hoses and drive like that till I find a spare one?My engine is a Merc 170.Thank you!
You would have to hook the two hoses together so the oil will bypass. If you just block them off, you will lock the steering and wouldn't be able to turn.
