Hello Everyone,
First I am new to posting on forums but have gotten a lot of useful information off of them.
I have been boating for few years now but, it's only been my Dad's 17' Bass Boat w/ 150hp Outboard. I have recently got my own boat 81' Formula F20 Bow Rider w/ I/O MCM 898 (305cid)
My first of many questions I'm sure. Is the Power Steering important with this boat? And with the Power Steering is the Torque fin (just above the prop) important to have. Mine is MIA. The guy i got the boat form said he has never had it on there.
I have taken the Power Steering pump off because it was leaking around the bottom mounting bolt that screws in the reservoir. Can i put i little silicon on the bolt?
