Hi, how can I check if my power stering system works good. now I have no power assistance, belt, fluid,pump runs oke.<br />the stering wheel turns the same way with engine running or not.<br />please give some advice<br />Cyrille
Remove the high pressure line and stick it in a bucket. Start it up it should BLAST fluid out. Shut down quick as to not run it out of fluid.<br />If it does not blast out then you have either a clogged hi pressure line or a bad pump. If it does blast out, you have either a clogged return line or a problem with the mechanical parts such as steering cable or hydraulic ram, or possibly in the drive itself.
