power tilt fitting

I have an 86 force 125 o/b the return fitting that comes off the actuator is cracked on the power tilt. I cant seem to find anybody that has it or any place to order it from. I have tried west marine, boaters world and boat us. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried a decent sized hardware store, or a brake repair shop?

yes i have tried ace, truvalue, lowes, and home depot no joy.

Maybe a workshop with tools and parts for making hydraulics?

the hard ware stores had fittings that were close but the end is threded and there has to be a taper that seats in the tilt actuator.

is it the part where the line hooks to the cylinder <br />that has a band around it? if so I ordered one from my repair shop a few months ago. that part is available.

that is the right part gator. where did you get it from if you dont mind me asking. can I order from them from virginia.

I got it from my local marine dealer its made by Quicksilver and the part number is F2A654983. it is called a band assembly and it includes a new band and the fitting. If you have trouble getting one let me know, He can order you one. my e mail is markwest@charter.net if you give me your e mail address I will send you a picture of it, I have not installed it yet.

The fitting is an inverted flare fitting. They can be found, someone posted company that had them. Try NAPA or a hyd shop.

Try a good auto parts store. I think that's where the other guy got his. NAPA I believe...
