power tilt /trim unit installation

I'm looking for advice on installing a PT&T unit on my '72 1150 merc. , pump and trim unit are OEM from same year as motor. I'm reading my manual but, I'm looking for the hands-on experience from fellow iboaters

I added an OEM to my '76 500 and then moved it to the 850. What kind of help are you looking for?

I also have the original instructions for the OEM PT&T Add-On kit - if it would be helpful, I can make a copy for you.
