Hello. I’m not sure if this is the correct category for this post. Please let me know if it is not. My boat has this power tilt. Does anyone know how to find information about how to maintain it so it lasts me a while? Thanks.

That is an older Mercury outboard trim pump, or one from a Mercruiser. You should therefore repost this in the Mercury outboard or MerCruiser forum.

i asume that motor is mounted in the pic??? If so its not an outboard.Nothing to really do except check for proper fuel level.Put dielectric grease under the boots and if there is any rust where it mounts to the boat,it needs to be shimmed up with plastic/nylon washers.Charlie

That pump was used for many outboard motors in the 60's and 70's !!-----Seeing it is mounted inside the boat it will need very little maintenance.--------Just make sure the hull drain plug is out when boat is not in the water
