Power trim and tilt not working....

I have power at the pump, I hear my relays clicking, could it be that the brushes are bad inside the pump?

I took it all apart, cleaned all the contacts, looked pretty good nothing broken, no wires missing.

Put it back together and nothing....

Should I buy a new pump or get this one rebuilt?

try cleaning the thermal breaker contacts with a nail file. If you have a 2w motor then rebuild is always cheaper and just as good as new. If you have 3w then a rebuild vs new is not as easy of a decision.

How do I know if its the 2W or 3W?

The W stands for wire. Just count them.

There are 2 wires are the pump, 3 wires at the switch...

2W-one pumps up, one pumps down. Third wire at switch supplies power

I just dropped the pump off to someone who rebuilds them, hopefully he can figure it out.
