I'm in the process of rebuilding my 1995 ELEO 70HP evinrude. I also have a 2000 PL4SS 4-stroke 70hp Evinrude that is basically a parts motor.
My 95 70 doesn't have power trim and tilt. Can I take the trim/tilt assembly off the 2000 model and bolt it onto the 1995 model? I tried comparing parts on shop2.evinrude.com but haven't been able to determine if it's possible.
Both engines have a 20" leg and visually it looks possible but...
Any ideas before I haul this 4-stroke off and start taking the trim apart?
