Power Trim Problems

I am experiening issues with the trim switch on the throttle handle, it drops and raises fine with the switch at the stern no porblem and will drop via the switch on the throttle but will not rise anyone had this porblem before?

This is a 5.0l Merc Alpha One ona Searay.

Probably just a problem with the trim limit switch, got a Year for this 5.0l Merc Alpha One ona Searay? They aren't all the same ya know.

There should be another switch on the control marked "Trailer". That will lift the leg... indicating you have a dead limit switch. Don't worry about it. You have joined the other 1.26 million Mercruiser owners with the same problem. I usually just jumper out the limit switch and it all works again. As Don asked, what's your serial number and we'll be able to give more accurate advise.
