Power trim question

Getting ready for start up after a mercruiser re install and I have noticed that the power trim resevoir on the pump is empty. (I have not removed any lines) I will top it up before trying it out but will it require bleeding ?. Thanks for the input, I am in uncharted waters.

to bleed run the drive up and down 3-4 times, re-check fluid level with drive in full down position and add as necessary

the system is self bleeding

You fill that resevoir while the drive is down
