I have a problem with a 00 Johnson trim system. The motor settles back to the trim stop in approximately 5 minutes while under power. The only solution I have been given is to replace the unit. This is a costly solution, that maybe due to a bad seal. Can anyone give me a trouble shooting sequence that would help in determining if the unit must be replaced, or the location of a after market repair shop that makes repairs on power trim/tilt units?
