Purchased a used 'project' Pontoon, and now almost finished with my project...My question is about the valve body for the tilt/trim assembly. I am assuming that with a Pontoon boat, it would be more appropriately called a tilt assist maybe, since there is no real need for trimming the motor...??
ANYway...The pistons seem to be working fine, I purchased a new motor for it- as the one given me with the boat was all in parts in a coffee can! I have no clue how to put the valve body parts back together without a diagram or blow-out photo of where each part goes (ie. the little balls and O-rings etc.) Does anyone know if there is a manual with this specific information?
I have a Mariner 60hp 3 cyl, SN: OG085394
I have checked the online manual from marineengine.com and it doesn't clearly show this information on the diagram.
If no one has any idea of a manual, can someone send a photo or walk me through putting this back together?
Greatly appreciate all feedback!
