Gentlemen, your learned advice on where one might find the weights and other parts for the Quicksilver Power2 props would be greatly appreciated. I have searched the forum for an answer to my question, but it seems never to have come up- until now.

I don't know that there is any published info on those weights...you may have to call Mercury to get that info.
And, Welcome aboard, Sir!

Re: Power2 Parts

Ahhhhhhhh! My bad! You misunderstood my question, but now your answer makes a little more sense to me:) I am refering to the weights which move the blades on the Power2 shifting prop. There are different weights corresponding to different pitches. I have the 15-21" set, and I am looking for the set which causes the blades to shift between 13-19".

I wonder whether any prop shops might have some of these weights laying around, scavenged from a junker. Be happy to hear anyone's ideas as to where I might get a weight set.

They used to sell these at sterndrives.com
Maybe they have some parts lying around still?

Here's one for sale on eBay. Wrong pitch but at least you can see the weights in question. eBay

Yeah, I E-mailed Stendrives.com and they replied that they had none. Doubtful that the geek answering E-mail really knows whats lying around in the wharehouse but whaddya gonna do? At some point someone must have stocked spare parts for the Power2 Props. If anyone has any guesses I would be grateful for the tip.

The geek answering the email was just like the geek here that missed your question (ME) about shift weights...
