Ok, iboats has never steered me wrong. I've seen the posts about using PowerTune on the bell housing U-Joint bellow. But, my problem is the diameter of the sleeve ring and the bellow just seems too different to have the Powertune make a difference. I don't mind paying the $15 and shipping I just want to understand what the Powertune is doing and whether or not it will solve my problem. Will the Powertune cause the diameter of the bellow to shrink just a enough to get the ring in? Will Brake Cleaner have the same result It also evaporates like Powertune.
The bellow is attached properly to the groove I've double triple checked it just seems impossible to fit that sleeve in. I feel like some years back I used a dremel on my Alpha I Gen II bellows to get that ring to slide in...but maybe that was the wrong approach. Thanks for the help!
