Re: Prayers requested

Thanks for all the prayers and thoughts.

Yesterday was a long day. We got to the hospital at 7:00AM but they didn't take her to the O.R. until 12:15. She was back there another hour before they got started. The surgery didn't go quite as planned and I ended up making a decision I didn't want to make for her. It was the right one though and she understood when I told her. But she's out and doing fine except for pain. They're going to make her walk some today which will be painful but good towards recovery.

I have very limited Internet access here. No wireless to connect to. I'm using a USB cable and my cell phone. It drops the connection a lot, it's very slow, and I have to disable images to even get the forum to load.

Thanks again guys. :)

Whew...

We're home now. She's doing 100% better than yesterday. She's tough. She spent plenty of time walking around the hospital which was good for her recovery. I put the dogs in the kennel so they wouldn't jump on her then brought her inside. I sat her down in my recliner and fixed her something to eat. We watched a movie and she's napping now. It's good to have her home. She told me to go outside and work on boats or something, but I just can't even think about that stuff today. Times like this have a way of reminding you what's important in life.:)
