Pre-Alpha complete rebuild - where to find parts? Or, better to upgrade?

Hey guys, searching for a complete rebuild kit for my pre-alpha outdrive. Can't find anything with a google search, only Alpha-1 parts come up.

Are parts still available, and if not (or if they're pricey), is it cost effective to convert to an Alpha-1 or newer? Is it a fairly direct swap or is it a difficult conversion? This is for an '80 Aristocraft Nineteen

Your drive is the MC-1 very similiar to the Alpha1 . Parts are readily available .
Looks to be in decent shake from the pic. What are the problems with it?

Ayuh,..... Most all of the parts are available right here at iboats,.....
'course, lookin' 'em up at the new store is abit of a problem,....

What's the issue yer tryin' to fix,..??
