hi, i have a 1966 mercruiser 110hp with a EZ Shift outdrive, i believe its the
1A/1B/1C EZ-Shift model. What newer drives will work with this when this goes? It would be nice to upgrade eventually anyways..thanks

Ayuh,...

Unfortunately,... The only Up-grade options available to you,..
Include swapping out the Entire driveline,...
Or Nothin'...

If you're Madly in Love with that hull,...
You can find a Decent running 3.0ls, with an Alpha 1 drives in Rotten hulls for maybe a Grand or 2....

Re: pre alpha help

thanks guys, i kind of had a feeling about that. Is it possible to keep the engine and replace the coupler, inner transom mount, bellhouseing and drive? or is the engine just not compatible with anything? I guess i'll just keep it going with the setup i have now for as long as possible.

Re: pre alpha help

you can keep the engine... might have an issue matching the exh. riser to the new exh. horn, but can be worked around.
