pre wired tach for evinrude

i just bought these new white controls, and they are new, not used, but under the key switch there is a small cap that pulls out to reveal a 3 pin connector that says"tach" ... where do i find the tachs that just plug into here, if this is what im thinking it is?

hello<br /> you have to buy the tach harness. its a 3 pin male amphenol on one end and ring terminals for the tach on the other. about 20 bucks or so.<br /> good luck and keep posting

The tach harness is part number 174732 and can be ordered from a J/E dealer.
