Pressure guages

I have twin 2006 f150's. I have 2 guages on my console and I think they are water pressure guages. have a pic of the guages attached. The pressures on the guages use to be pretty well matched at the same rpm. Now my starboard motor has a lower pressure about 2/3 the pressure of the port engine. I changed the water pump/ impeller on both engines. no change. also when i hook hose up to engine flush port i don't get nearly as much water out of the pee hole. any ideas?

Might be the line feeding the gauge is a bit clogged. Get behind the helm and swap the plastic tubes. If it's electrical could still swap the wires

The water jackets on the motor might also be a bit clogged

If you boat in salt water, the gauges can get corroded. They are usually made of a thin brass tube that moves when pressurized. The tube has a set of teeth that move a brass gear that moves the needle. Any of the movable parts can hang up, or get hard to move, affecting accuracy.

I happen to have a Faria water pressure gauge, with a 0-60 PSI range. It has held up for 15 years or so, but the Tempo water pressure gauge on my other boat breaks every few years.

Anyway, if saltwater gets into the gauge mechanism, it is bad for them.
