Prestolite Alternator Casing?

78-79 OMC 140hp <br />My alternator case has broken where to unit bolts to the engine. The alternator seems to work fine so I am hoping to find either a dead alternator to scrounge the front half of the case or a decent used alternator without paying the price of a rebuilt. Any suggestions/help?

If you still have the broken off piece you could take it to someone who welds aluminum and get it welded back together.
