Most of the treated pine board products available here are kiln dried - doesn't warp. I built an ice chest 3 years ago using ss screws & construction adhesive. No warpage, no corrosion and no problems.<br /><br />Aldo

4cyl, if your concern is strength, weight (which is very important in a boat) and cost (which is very important to most of us) remember that if the plywood is totally encapsulated with epoxy or polyester resin and mat, water will never get to it to cause a problem, such as rot or delamination. again this must be done properly and care must be used to see that the frame or stringer is totally covered. we use AC grade exterior plywood all the time this way with good long lasting results. I have even built fuel tanks into cockpit sides out of epoxy, mat and 1/4 plywood, I am certainly not recommending this for pleasue boats, but we do on small utility hulls to save weight and room. The coast guard would never permit those kind of pratices in pleasure boats.--Bob
