evinrude 3hsp yachtwin not sure of year 4000 rpm serial # 3832a-eo1751 lower half folds up and it all fits in to a evinrude suit case would like to now what it is worth and if it is a good motor
Hi Walnut: I have the same engine 1968 3hp folding Evinrude Yachtwin. Fuel mixture is 50:l. Great little engine and a valuable collectible especially with the original carrying case (wish I had one for mine). Don't know monetary value; would depend on condition and what someone was willing to pay for it. You might check with the Antique Outboard Motor Club website at aomci.org and click on their Ask-A-Member forum. Also check Ebay to see if any are being sold and at what price. Great little fishing and trolling motor. I ran all over the lake with mine and finally cleaned it up and now it sits in the living room on a stand. Gives me something interesting to look at besides my beautiful wife. Good luck!
