I want to sell my 1985 Johnson 4hp- long shaft. I went completely through the motor this winter- new fuel pump, rebuilt carb, new water pump. I cleaned and painted the entire motor also. It has always been in my family and probably has a total of 20 hours on it (tender time for a larger boat) With a brand new fuel tank included, and Seloc repair manual - what should the whole thing go for? Reason? - I simply want to "upgrade" to a new 4 stroke. thanks.

Re: pricing

Ditto on the $200-$300. Try a little high and then come down a bit if you have to..

Re: pricing

You might get a bit more out of it. Small shortshaft motors are few and far between.
