I got a 1993 Johnson 115hp I took off one boat and put on mine and hook it up the same as the other boat. The motor will start and run, but Im having a problem with the prime. The primer bulb never gets rock hard and the motor will die after about 3-4 minutes at idle. I have put all new fuel line from the tank to water seperator to the engine with a new primer bulb. Im very open to any suggestions to what could be wrong. Thanks

Air leak in the system or failing fuel pump comes to mind. Take fuel feed line to the carbs off and crank into a gas container. See if it keeps a steady flow. If it starts out good and tails off it is most likely the pump.
Having said that you must make certain that the system is not drawing air.
