Based on my limited exposure the early models had some construction issues, but later models have had few complaints that I know of. They were not very popular in my area, but that doesn't mean they were bad.
I am referring to the aluminum hulls, do not know if glass versions were ever made. Like everything, how it was maintained means everything, name plates mean far less.
