Prisma Hull Planks to replace rotten balsa hull? IE no cored hull, just planks?

I have an 80 Monark trihull that had a rotten balsa core hull. Ive got it down to bare glass now. I have read enough negative stuff about balsa to decide that I do not want to chance using it again. I am very interested in the Prisma preform hull planks as a possible way to stiffen the hull without going back with a core of ANY kind. This boat has a very shallow draft and adding wood stringers and a deck will result in an even shallower draft - IE it would go from 19" to 15" deck to top of the cap. PRisma makes hull planks and hull stiffners, and I was thinking maybe 4 rows of 6" planks in addition to some more glass (3 layers of 1708) to thicken the hull outer skin might be a relatively cheap and rot proof way to get back on the water. Thoughts? Can poly resin be used with Prisma products or just epoxy? THANKS! Soggy John

Never used em so not speaking from experience, only from research and investigation. From what I've been able to determine and based on my calculations only epoxy can be used and it would take approximately $400-$500 dollars worth of the planks + the Cost of the epoxy. (5 Gals approx $400.00) Not a very cheap alternative IMHO.
