pro pitch for speed with 25hp

i got a 1652 f&f boat v bottom with a evinrude 25hp motor there will about 3 people and 4 dozen decoys in the boat what pitch prop would be best for speed.

Best way to do this is to run it with the present prop as it would be loaded.
get us the year of the motor, prop size,(on the barrel or under the prop nut)the max rpm and speed.A tiny tach is reasonable,easy to install.a gps for speed if possible.
For its health and efficiency the motor needs to be able to run within it max rated rpm at wot(wide open throttle).The good news is a Basic 1652 should get up fairly well compared to smaller boats when loaded.

the year of the motor is 1986 or 1987. the old prop rubber is gone so i cant test how fast it goes. i well get the max rpm

You might need a spare prop you could get it rehubbed and test run it.

I've done a little looking around, I think a 12" is a good start assuming carefully balanced front to rear. If your crew aren't too beefy.
