Problem getting lower unit back up

I am having a problem getting the lower unit back into the shaft. Stops at about 2 inches from where it is supposed to be. Any tips or tricks I can use?

What make, size and year of motor?

Never mind. Got it back up. Just a bit tough to line up and rotate the prop to line the teeth.
