I have a one year old Venture trailer. I repacked the bearings over the winter and saw a little water near the grease seal. I ordered triple lip seals figuring they are the best. I used the boat twice in the spring and took off the dust cover and I see water in the hub.and mixed in the grease. I installed new triple lip seals again and new dust covers and inspected the spindle for damage, everything looked good. I launched the boat once and I see more water in the hub and a lot of grease on the back of the wheel. The grease seal fits nicely on the spindle and everything looks good but grease is coming out from the seal. I have the spindle lube axle. This is not my first trailer and I am sure I've done everything correctly. If anyone has an answer to this please help.

JUST A THOUGHT BUT COULD IT BE THE TYPE OF GREASE YOUR USING?

Are there grooves or pits on the sealing surface of the spindal?

If using multi lip seals, you may have put to much grease on them as lubrication, could hamper the sealing ability. I always use petrolem jelly/vasaline, the excess melts away with very little heat.

This is the size book then you have to find a bearing dealer in your area and order them as there are about 1000 sizes :)

You have to measure the sealing area on my trailer it was 1.720 and then see if they make one in that size

there not CHEEP at around 38 dollars each retail :^ and you wil have to make your own driver
