probleme with fire and lower unit

ok i check the fire from the wire for the spark plug and 2 ave no fire fire what i ave to inspect the coil or set point???<br /><br />and the prop. stay alwais and forward position i check what my book say the oil is ok the green and blue wire are ok to with the 12volts check and i verify to the ohm from this celenoid and the lower unit they are 6 ohm each

Lets start with the model number so we know what you have. We suspect its something pre 1973 and probably a 3 or 4 cylinder but lets make sure before we go further.<br /><br />Good luck!

i repair the fire its the point set i changed and for the engine everything run great but for the lower unit they run good at neutral and reverse but when i put in forward i have to put alot of trotle to go forward and we hear the gear bang! i dont think is good :) but i verify the oil is good no water in oil i verify the 2 wires and they are ok for test whit voltmeter and ohmmeter i dont know what i ave to suspect now enyone ideal please??? do you think its the hydrolic run bad or ????

Electric shift gearbox? could be you have snaped the spring that drives the forward gear cog. It sits between the clutch plate and the gear. I have some photo's of one of these old gear boxs dissasembled. I will post them tommorrow, good luck in the meantime.

lark i have the manuel and i see what you told me but im not sure its mecanicaL probleme its seem like hydrolique probleme

might be time to drop the lower unit and open your gearcase, it isn't difficult and by the sound of it you aren't going anywhere with that motor at the moment. I can't imagine it being a hydraulic problem. post your engine model # and that will give us all something to look into. If we know axactly what engine you have, we can find info on it, at the moment we are sort of clutching at straws.

if i unplug the 2 wires go to the selenoid in the lower unit and run the engine i supose it will be in forward position thats is the test i can do to verify if is hydrolic probleme or mecanical probleme?

no, the two wires go to individual electromagnets. Ground is through the case, if you unplug both wires, it will be in neutral.

ok but im lookink my manuel if the selenoid with green wire the one put the neutral mode if is bad adjust or to stick and dificul for the hydrolic pump to push the rod do you think its posible?

because i reverse thos wire by accident before thats in the transmission stay in forward mode in all posision now i put the wire in a good place and work bad just in forward position
