i have just done a compression check on my motor, which was 160psi on all cylinders last week but today it is 160psi on all cylinders apart from the bottom one which is 150psi.
Does this mean something is on its way out mechanically.
Iam already having heaps of trouble getting it to run due to weak spark i think, (got to replace stator)

+/- 10% Looks good. 150psi.. sounds like she's either been re-bored or done little work.

thanks, sounds ok then.
i just heard back from my mechanic and he reckons its my timing module, which sits under the flywheel that is faulty and it the reason why my motor wont start, not the stator.
Will find out tomorow morning whether it is that or not, i gave up on it cos it was getting fuel, spark and had compression but just wouldnt start.
Has anyone else heard of this so called timing module underneath the flywheel?
