Geessss Jtx, did you read the article? These guys were looking for publicity, maybe to cause just what you are espousing, or they were on a recon. Nothing here about violation of rights, racism, or religion, just plain good sense.

I read several articles about the incident and concluded that there are two sides to every story. Not having been there I can't say what I would have done. The Captain has the final say and I will always respect his (or her) authority. I have no doubt that everyone involved, airline employees, TSA and other law enforcement acted out of a genuine desire to do their jobs to the best of their abilities and without any bias against any race or religion.

I read some posts in this thread that were not about that particular incident, and it makes me wonder...

Anyways, maybe the "so much for religious freedom" comment was a bit over the top.

true...most I can do is to encourage you to remember what and who you are speaking for when you type over that signature. but don't worry I won't keep doing it.

Reading a little deep into my sig, it doesn't say anything about speaking for Christ.

by proclaiming your Christianity every time you press 'enter', you represent Christ whether you want to or not...it isn't a court of law, a "formal declaration" is not required.

"better be careful of what they say" - well...there's no actual formal consequences...it has nothing to do with the Constitution of the United States of America...it has nothing to do with your rights or priveleges as a citizen...it's more like a responsibility, but not a responsibility given to you by others, more like a responsibility that you take on yourself...because it's the right thing to do...as I was taught...not that I'm the authority or anything...if you know any Christian leaders whose opinions you respect, might be interesting to hear whether they agree or not...
